What we expect

Fulcrum Golf works because members show up, treat each other well, and use it the way it's meant to be used. That means:

  • Show up to rounds you've committed to, or cancel with real notice
  • Treat other members the way you'd want to be treated at any club
  • Use your real identity, no fake profiles or impersonating someone else
  • Keep reviews, posts, and messages honest
  • Don't harass, threaten, or discriminate against anyone

The full legal version of these rules is in our Terms of Service, Section 5.

Reporting a problem

You can report a member directly from their profile, or contact us through our contact form. Reports go to a real person, not an algorithm, and we look at what actually happened before taking any action.

What happens after a confirmed report

Not every report results in action. We only escalate once we've confirmed a real violation happened. When we do, it follows the same fixed steps every time:

  • First confirmed violation: an internal warning. Nothing changes about your account or how it looks to other members.
  • A second confirmed violation, or a first violation involving harassment or a safety concern: a 7-day suspension. You won't be able to sign in during that window.
  • A third confirmed violation: a permanent ban.

This is a deliberate ladder, not a one-strike system. A single misunderstanding shouldn't end your membership, but a real pattern will.

Showing up, and reliability

After a round, participants can report how it went: whether everyone made it, or someone cancelled or didn't show. We use this to quietly favor more reliable members when filling a real, time-sensitive open spot, never as a public score and never to exclude anyone outright. A new member with no history yet is treated as neutral, not penalized. This never affects a "looking to play" match, only filling someone else's already-booked spot.

Your own profile shows plain facts, rounds played, member since, and missed matches, never a single reliability number.

If you invited someone

If you handed your invite code to someone and they're later permanently banned, that's treated as a quiet signal about your own account too, the same way a club member vouching for a guest carries some responsibility for that introduction. It's a small factor, never a public one, and never something that alone leads to any action against you.
