Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

Fulcrum Golf is operated by Wedge Golf Ventures LLC ("Fulcrum Golf," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using Fulcrum Golf, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use Fulcrum Golf.

2. Beta service

Fulcrum Golf is currently in beta. That means the service is still being actively built and tested, and you should expect:

  • Features may change, break, or be removed without notice
  • Uptime and support response times are not guaranteed
  • Data (including your profile, posts, and messages) may need to be reset or migrated as we make changes. We'll try to avoid this, but can't promise it won't happen during beta
  • Bugs are more likely than in a mature product, please report anything odd

The beta is provided free of charge and as-is. We may end the beta, or transition to a paid or invite-limited model, at any time.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Fulcrum Golf. By signing up, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

4. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity on your account. One account per person: no fake profiles or impersonating someone else.

5. Community conduct

Members agree not to:

  • Harass, threaten, or discriminate against other members
  • Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information
  • Use Fulcrum Golf for commercial solicitation, spam, or unauthorized advertising
  • Attempt to access another member's account or data without authorization
  • Use the service for anything illegal

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, at our discretion. If you experience or witness a violation, you can report it directly from that member's profile, or contact us using the details in Section 13.

6. In-person meetups: please read carefully

Fulcrum Golf helps you find and arrange rounds with other members, but Fulcrum Golf does not conduct background checks on members and cannot guarantee the identity, intentions, or conduct of anyone you meet through the service.

Any time you meet, play, or otherwise interact with another member, in person or otherwise, you do so entirely at your own risk. We strongly recommend you:

  • Meet first at the course or another public place
  • Tell a friend or family member where you're going and who with
  • Trust your judgment, and leave any situation that feels unsafe
  • Report concerning behavior to us so we can review the account

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fulcrum Golf is not responsible or liable for the conduct of any member, on or off the platform, including at any round, event, or meetup arranged through the service.

7. Your content

You keep ownership of the posts, photos, reviews, and messages you share on Fulcrum Golf. By posting content, you grant us a license to store, display, and distribute it within the service as needed to operate Fulcrum Golf.

8. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from the Account page. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms or if we believe doing so is necessary to protect the community.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Fulcrum Golf is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee that you'll be matched with a group, that matches will meet your expectations, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, especially during the beta period described in Section 2.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fulcrum Golf and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including damages related to interactions or meetups with other members (see Section 6). Our total liability for any claim relating to Fulcrum Golf is limited to the amount, if any, you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Fulcrum Golf harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the service, your violation of these terms, or your interactions with other members.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [STATE/JURISDICTION: needs a real value from the business owner], without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll post the updated version here with a new "last updated" date. Continuing to use Fulcrum Golf after a change means you accept the updated terms.
